We Have This Thing With Floors

We have this thing with floors and love tiles! Tiled floors have been around for centuries. The Chinese invented pottery some 20,000 years ago, and through that created porcelain tile that was popularized and transported throughout the world by Persian traders. Today, we are still using some of the same techniques and applications as the ancient artists from way back when. From hexagons to herringbone look ahead to see some of our favorite floor installations that will hopefully inspire centuries to come.

1. Flower Power

Our Small Hexagon Flower Pattern sheets are the perfect flooring option for any bathroom. You can customize the color scheme and make them your own. Here we have royal blue flowers that tie in the wall color, making this room perfectly balanced.

If you’re looking for something earthy and inviting, this warm herringbone design is a perfect alternative to hard wood floors. Our Saddle Clove glaze has high variation that goes from golden yellow to a patina-like rustic brown. Imagine this in your entry way or mudroom for a wonderfully inviting design.

5. Diamonds!

Who says you can’t pave your bathroom floor with diamonds?! These earthy green Medium Diamonds are the perfect centerpiece for this adorable bathroom (and adorable dog!). Going with a bold design for your bathroom floor is a great way to keep it looking fresh without going over the top. We love how the homeowner chose a vibrant shower curtain to tie in the floor tile with the rest of the space.
